Overview
Advisory Analytics / Marketing Analyst responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels; collaborating with cross-functional teams; and maintaining client communications and project progress updates.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Analysis : Monitor the performance of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email marketing.
- Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to the marketing team.
- ROI Optimization : Work with the marketing team to optimize campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and targeting to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- A / B Testing : Plan and execute A / B tests to improve ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements. Utilize test results to inform campaign optimization.
- Reporting : Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance and key metrics to stakeholders. Identify and communicate key insights from the data.
- Competitor Analysis : Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Keyword and Audience Research : Perform keyword research and audience analysis to inform ad targeting and content strategies.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, design, and development to ensure alignment of marketing efforts and achieve campaign objectives.
- Coordinate with Advisory Analytics Consultant Coordinator to provide current project progress updates.
- Draft email correspondence to clients as per internal technical / advisory requirements, and provide updates to internal teams on requirements.
- Organize and service meetings, understand meeting context, summarize results and necessary next steps.
- Coordinate schedules between internal teams and clients; collaborate with other team members or divisions as needed.
- Manage client requests and issues (replicate, validate, and confirm issues). Maintain product knowledge (Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Digital Marketing, etc.).
Qualifications (Job Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or a related role.Experience in tech, consulting, e-commerce, or financial services industries is highly valued.Experience collaborating with performance / growth marketing teams is a strong advantage.Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation.Skilled in analytical tools such as Python, R, or advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).Familiar with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.Hands-on experience with A / B testing, cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and experimentation frameworks.Strong understanding of product metrics (conversion rate, retention, churn, LTV, CAC, ROI).Solid understanding of performance marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and programmatic platforms).Experience analyzing and optimizing marketing campaign performance using data.Knowledge of channel attribution models, marketing effectiveness measurement, and budget optimization based on data insights.Comfortable working closely with marketing teams to align performance initiatives with product goals.Strong business acumen with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.Product-oriented mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Seniority level
