Sales Engineer

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our products. Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets and goals set for the assigned area
• Provide technical and engineering information on LVD products, services, and equipment by answering customer questions and requests
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations and provide value-added solutions to customers as needed
• Identify potential business opportunities by prospecting and assessing industry positions; research and analyze sales options
• Maintain strong relationships with LVD customers by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities for profitability, cost reduction, and service improvements
• Establish and develop relationships with prospects; recommend appropriate solutions
• Provide accurate sales projections and forecasts on a monthly basis
• Take ownership of the entire pre-sales and post-sales process (from sales call to quote to purchase order to contract to payment terms to delivery to installation coordination to final acceptance certificate)
• Collect payment for machine sales with support from the Administration team
• Provide support to the Service Department when necessary for machine failure or service issues, working as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes
• Attend industry trade shows and events to promote our products and identify new sales opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify potential product improvements or new product opportunities
• Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reviewing publications, building networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies
• Fulfill any other duties assigned by the company in a timely and effective manner
