About Our Client

Our client is an ambitious early-stage startup based in Jakarta, focused on solving financial inclusion through innovative technology. As they build the foundation of their product and team, they are looking for a visionary CTO to lead their technology strategy and execution.

Job Description

As CTO, you will be responsible for shaping the company's technical vision, building and scaling the engineering team, and driving the development of our core product. You will work closely with the founders to align technology with business goals and play a key role in fundraising, product strategy, and long-term growth. Other key responsibilities include :

• Setting the overall technological vision and strategy for the organisation, and ensuring all are aligned according to the business objectives.
• Overseeing the system architecture, infrastructure, and software development lifecycle and implementation of technology initiatives.
• Managing the technology department to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
• Identifying and implementing new technologies to improve business processes.
• Ensuring the security and scalability of the organisation's technological infrastructure.
• Collaborating with other departments to align technology projects with business objectives.
• Monitoring industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in the fin-tech sector.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the technology team to foster innovation and growth.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of all tech systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends relevant to our industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Technology Officer should have proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role in a startup or tech-driven company. And the candidate have to be familiar with the Indonesian landscape. Other requirement are :
