Responsibilities and requirements for a Tax Leader role focused on Indonesian tax law, tax disputes, and compliance for a multinational or large-scale organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short-term and long-term tax strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Provide strategic insights to management on tax implications of business transactions, investments, and expansions.
• Conduct tax risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation plans.
• Lead the resolution of tax disputes, including audits, objections, appeals, and litigation processes.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, legal counsels, and tax authorities to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Prepare strong documentation to support tax audits and disputes.
• Ensure full compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations, covering Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, and other relevant obligations.
• Supervise accurate and timely submission of monthly and annual tax filings.
• Establish and enforce internal tax policies to strengthen compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a tax team in a complex organizational structure.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO / Finance Director and other senior stakeholders.
• Provide clear communication and alignment across departments on tax-related matters.
