Contract Engineer (FPSO / FPU, EPCI (Offshore), FEED competition)
Education :
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Masters degree in Project Management or an MBA is an advantage.
Certifications :
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.Experience :
15+ years of experience in project services management within the oil & gas industry , particularly in upstream and deep-water projects.Strong background in managing large, complex projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and international teams .Expertise in offshore oil & gas operations, especially deep-water projects and Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) .Previous experience working with global teams and managing projects across different geographical regions is a plus .Knowledge of project financials , including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.Ability to analyze data and present complex financials to non-financial stakeholders.Responsibilities :
Project Management : Overseeing engineering tasks, ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget.Contract Negotiation : Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various engineering contracts, including service agreements and procurement contracts.Risk Assessment : Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and advising management on legal and financial implications.Coordination : Managing and coordinating construction projects from design to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.Compliance : Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.Note : This role is crucial in ensuring that engineering projects are executed efficiently and effectively.Strong knowledge of contract management .Strong leadership & team management skills , with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance .Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills (verbal & written).Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex project environments.Strong commitment to a high standard of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols in offshore projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
