Role Purpose
The Managing Director will lead the companies Indonesia operations with the primary objective of securing and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and ensuring the timely delivery of hydropower projects.
This role requires a technically strong project management leader who can drive execution, manage stakeholders, and oversee all phases of project delivery — from permitting and contracting to construction and operations.

Key Responsibilities
- PPA Delivery & Regulatory Management : Lead engagement with PLN, MEMR, and other stakeholders to secure and manage PPAs; ensure compliance with Indonesian energy regulations and renewable energy policies.
- Project Execution & Delivery : Oversee the launch of the Situmandi project (shovel-ready for 2025); manage bidding and approvals for Parlausan (2025) and Batang Toru 1 (2026); ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with technical and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with Indonesian authorities, regulators, and local communities; manage external consultants and contractors; represent the company with investors and industrial partners, supporting but not leading financing discussions.
- Leadership & Operations : Lead the Indonesian operating entity, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and compliance; recruit, mentor, and manage a local leadership team (technical, operational, administrative); drive knowledge transfer and capability building within Indonesia.

Candidate Profile
10+ years’ leadership experience in energy infrastructure projects, ideally hydropower or other renewable generation.Proven track record in securing PPAs and working with PLN and Indonesian regulatory bodies.Strong project management background — from feasibility through to construction and operations.Experienced in managing international contractors, EPC firms, and consultants.Solid understanding of Indonesian regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and energy transition policies.Preferred Attributes
Engineering or technical degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.Established network within the Indonesian energy sector and government institutions.Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style suited to a growth-phase organization.________________________________________
