Senior Odoo Developer - Falinwa Bali

We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to lead and contribute to complex Odoo projects, with an initial focus on a major Odoo migration initiative involving multiple versions (Community & Enterprise).

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Python , Odoo framework architecture , and server-side administration , with a proven track record in designing scalable, high-quality ERP solutions. You will play a key role in guiding junior developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering robust, optimized systems for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration and upgrade of Odoo systems (e.g., v14 → v18), ensuring data integrity, performance, and minimal downtime.
• Design and develop custom Odoo modules, features, and business logic aligned with project goals.
• Analyze complex Odoo environments (custom modules, dependencies, and third-party integrations) to define migration and compatibility strategies.
• Refactor legacy code and implement solutions compatible with updated Odoo frameworks.
• Write efficient Python scripts for data migration, validation, and automation.
• Conduct comprehensive testing functional, performance, and regressionto ensure system stability.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver seamless end-to-end Odoo solutions.
• Manage Odoo deployments on Linux, Docker, or Odoo.sh , including performance tuning, scaling, and backup management.
• Review and mentor the work of junior and medium developers, ensuring code quality, documentation, and adherence to standards.
• Provide technical guidance on Odoo best practices, architectural decisions, and migration methodologies.
