Job Overview
A leading marine and power systems engineering company is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead its commercial operations and project management teams in Indonesia. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic business growth, managing customer engagement, and shaping the company’s long-term market positioning within the power and marine sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, proven B2B sales experience, and the ability to build and guide high‑performing teams that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a scalable organizational structure for the sales and project management functions.
- Lead and oversee all sales operations, ensuring the achievement of business goals and performance metrics.
- Inspire, mentor, and manage a results‑oriented team; identify skill gaps and training opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute long‑term business and sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with key business partners, evaluating their capabilities for improvement.
- Lead project execution to ensure on‑time, within‑budget, and scope‑aligned delivery.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and trade exhibitions.
- Oversee budget planning, operational expenditure, and resource optimization.
- Prepare management reports, support audits, and foster collaboration across departments.
Must‑Have Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 15 years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in senior leadership within power systems, marine, or energy sectors.Proven success in driving strategic sales growth and achieving business targets.Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.Experience in customer relationship and partner development.Familiarity with project execution and operational management.Fluent in English with excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities.Legal right to work in Indonesia (mandatory).Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Background in marine propulsion, energy solutions, or hybrid systems.Exposure to global or APAC‑level strategic sales leadership.Experience in digital transformation within power systems or industrial sectors.Seniority Level
