Located in Clayton, Melbourne, the successful applicant will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in managing complex environments within the pharmaceutical, Life science, GMP, Biotech, R&D and / or Manufacturing industries.

Much of this available role will be to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operations of our pharmaceutical facility.

What You Will Be Doing

• Oversee the daily operations of all facility functions, including but not limit to maintenance, safety, janitorial services, GMP scope, compliance, landscaping, pest control, IFM scope of Hard and Soft services.
• Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Manage facility budgets, including planning and allocation of resources for maintenance and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations, including safety, environmental standards and manufacturing process.
• Lead and manage a team of facility staff and contractors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plan and oversee renovations, refurbishments, and building projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure facilities meet regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and ensure seamless facility operations.
• Respond to emergencies and facility-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Ability to organise and multi-task in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
