About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Live Commerce Lead to build and scale our livestream commerce capabilities and business. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our social commerce initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, sustainable growth, and team development. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in social commerce platforms, livestream operations, and process management, combined with strong leadership skills to shape the future of our digital commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Capability Building & Strategy
- Establish and operationalize the livestream commerce framework, including workflows, tools, and best practices.
- Develop long-term strategies for scaling livestream operations across multiple platforms (TikTok Shop and Shopee Live).
- Define KPIs and performance metrics for operational success, customer engagement, and conversion.
2. Operations Excellence
Drive seamless end-to-end livestream operations, from planning, scheduling, and content readiness to execution and post-stream reporting.Implement process improvements to reduce errors, enhance efficiency, and minimize downtime.Develop risk-averse operational protocols to safeguard business continuity and compliance.Build and lead a cross-functional operations team.Train and mentor team members to deliver high-quality livestream commerce experiences.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.4. Stakeholder Management
Foster positive relationship with external stakeholders including Client, Partners and Vendors.Build and cooperate with internal business functions in ensuring Operational Excellence.5. Scaling & Sustainability
Create sustainable workflows that balance speed, quality, and cost-efficiency.Anticipate operational bottlenecks and design solutions for high-volume scalability.Partner with commercial, marketing, and product teams to align livestream commerce with overall business goals.6. Risk & Compliance Management
Identify potential risks in livestream operations (technical, reputational, regulatory).Establish proactive contingency plans and escalation protocols.Ensure compliance with platform guidelines, industry regulations, and brand safety standards.Qualifications
Experience : 10+ years in e-commerce, digital operations, or social commerce, with at minimum 3+ years leading livestream commerce or digital content operations at scale.Expertise : Strong understanding of social commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, LazLive, etc.) and livestream execution workflows.Leadership : Proven experience in building and managing high-performing operations teams.Operational Mindset : Ability to design and implement scalable, risk-averse, and sustainable operational systems.Analytical Skills : Strong data-driven decision-making capability, with experience in performance reporting and optimization.Communication : Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
