Position Summary As modernvet expands rapidly across Jakarta and surrounding regions, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Specialist to support our finance and accounting functions.
This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy, cost efficiency, and internal control across all branches.
This role oversees the validation of operational costs, asset management, and revenue reconciliation processes, ensuring alignment between branch operations and central finance reporting.
Acting as an independent control point, the position strengthens modernvet’s governance, transparency, and accountability in financial operations.
You will work closely with the Finance & Accounting Supervisor and cross-functional teams to manage daily finance operations, contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, and help enhance the company’s financial systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Cost Control & Finance Operations Validate Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and invoices to ensure completeness, accuracy, and budget compliance.
Review branch-level spending, petty cash, and advances before submission for payment processing Monitor operational expenses to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to approved budget Support monthly cost analysis and variance reporting for management review.
Asset Management Maintain and update the master list of assets across all modernvet branches.
Coordinate asset tagging, handover, movement, and disposal in line with company policies.
Reconcile asset records between Operations and Finance to ensure accurate balance sheet reporting.
Assist in periodic asset verification and audit processes.
Revenue & Sales Reconciliation Validate branch sales and service reports against system data to ensure revenue accuracy.
Reconcile reported revenue net of discounts, rebates, and loyalty programs.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate with branch operations and Finance for correction.
Provide monthly revenue reconciliation reports to the Finance & Accounting Supervisor.
Governance & Compliance Ensure segregation of duties by not executing purchasing or payment processes.
Act as a control function to maintain transparency and strengthen modernvet’s financial governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting) to uphold compliance and efficiency.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations, cost control roles; experience in Healthcare, Banking, or multi-branch service industries is an advantage.
Strong understanding of budgeting, expense control, asset management, and reconciliations processes High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive in managing responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
