We are looking for a position of Manager, Supply Chain (Indonesia). Please specify your current and expected salary as well as your notice period.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Intercompany procurement focusing on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers (warehouse, toller & local logistics, etc.) to secure favorable conditions.
- Build strong supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with Indonesia Commercial & Regional Headquarters planning teams to synchronize component supply with production schedules.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for repackaging and relabeling products at the toller factory.
- Conduct sales forecast analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage inventory and supply chain activities for imports and exports.
- Optimize local procurement, customer service, logistics, and planning.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports, lead annual stock takes, and oversee product expiration management.
- Enhance logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness through optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Manage import-related documentation for products from China to Indonesia.
- Undertake ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.Minimum of 10 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in the crop protection or agrochemical industry.Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Business-oriented, proactive, and innovative with excellent problem-solving abilities.Excellent analytical skills, creativity in solutions, and a strong sense of ownership.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Proficient in written and spoken English.Knowledge of SAP is a plus.Seniority level
