Responsibilities
- Handling end-to-end litigation matters for the company with respect to civil lawsuits or criminal reports filed by the company against the counterparties in various forums
- Reviewing documents, conducting research and accordingly providing the legal strategy and opinion for superior and / or the company's management
- Ensuring effective litigation management of all cases - timely filing of cases and monitoring their progress, and provide timely updates to the relevant leaders of division
- Analysing legal notices and ensuring timely and appropriate responses thereto
- Providing extensive briefing of and co-ordination with external counsels
- Attending police summons or court proceedings and coordinating for filing of all representation and submissions thereto
- Drafting various documents as may be required in the course of work
- Providing update to superior and / or company's management periodically
- Maintaining proper filing of documents for each case handled
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Law, With a GPA minimum of 3.004+ working experiences, with minimum 2 years experiences working in law firmHaving licensed as an advocate is preferableExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsEffective Drafting and Negotiation skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
