Job descriptionBachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering; Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; an advanced degree in engineering. Ideally, chartered engineer status within a recognized related Engineering Institution. At least ten (10) years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least five (5) years in pipeline installation engineering. Experience providing professional technical services for planning and execution of offshore construction and installation, focusing on timely delivery within budget and in accordance with project requirements, specifications and standards, for big bore pipelines at shallow and deep water. Experience developing construction plans, load out, transportation & installation strategies for offshore works (including installation across troughs, escarpments, shallow and deep water zones, and crossings with third-party facilities) and pipeline shore pull activities. Strong communication with stakeholders related to construction and installation engineering, safety, quality, and operations to resolve technical issues promptly and ensure clear management. Extensive experience in FEED and EPCI projects related to installation engineering of big bore and deep water pipelines, with knowledge spanning FEED to detail design, construction, pre-commissioning, project management, and QC controls for project delivery.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Pipeline Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation engineering of pipelines, including developing design concepts, design criteria and specifications, performing analysis and calculations, and reviewing and implementing government regulations and industrial codes and practices to comply with the project scope of work. This role is for a FEED Offshore Engineering project based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include :
