Finance and Accounting (Managerial Level)

General Description

The Finance & Accounting (Manager) is responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting operations for newly subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. This role plays a critical part in setting up and managing robust financial systems and processes to support the growth and scalability of each business entity. The manager will act as a strategic partner to business and operations teams, ensuring financial integrity and alignment across various subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations for newly subsidiaries, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, and tax compliance.
• Develop and implement standardized accounting policies and procedures tailored to each subsidiary, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
• Strengthen finance operation systems (e.g., ERP) and ensure integration and scalability across multiple entities.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for each subsidiary, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of consolidated reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, legal, tax, and internal audit) to support business initiatives and ensure financial alignment.
• Provide timely and insightful financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making at the group and subsidiary levels.
• Support the setup and financial due diligence of new subsidiaries including risk assessments and operational readiness.
• Identify and resolve financial and operational issues, ensuring strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities for new subsidiaries.
• Perform other duties as required to support the finance team and evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications

5 years of working experience in finance operations (either accounts payable or accounts receivable functions), risk control or Finance functions with some experience at management level and high-growth organization or a start-up company
