NPD Briefs
Conduct assessment and research to ascertain and clarify product briefs and customers’ need.
Project Case
Ascertain business case for the briefs, including revenue projection, timeline launches, preparing costing and verify profitability (margin level) of the new products, working with Commercial team.
Project Management
- Timeline Management : Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Resource Allocation : Organize and manage resources effectively across various stages of product development.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including I&D, Commercial, Finance and Manufacturing.Communication : Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure alignment and progress.Stakeholder Management : Engage with stakeholders, including senior management and external partners (customers, suppliers), to gather input, decision and secure buy-in.Product Design and Development
Concept Development : Oversee the creation of product concepts / samples and ensure they meet customer needs and project objectives.Prototyping : Manage the development of prototypes / samples and testing's to validate product performance and feasibility.Product Specifications : Define and document product specifications, including design, features, and functionality.Supply Chain Coordination
Production Planning : Coordinate with Sourcing and Supply & Logistics to develop and execute sourcing, purchasing and production planning strategies to secure OTQIF production.Customer Feedback : Collect and analyze customer feedback post-production run to drive product improvements and updates.Budget Management
Manage the budget for new product development projects, ensuring costs are controlled and within limits to secure good profitability.
Financial Analysis
Coordinate with Costing FNA partner to monitor and report on financial performance related to the new products, including sales, costs, wastage and overall profitability.
Quality Assurance
Compliance : Coordinate with Regulatory and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that products meet regulatory, customer and industry standards.Quality Control : Engage and support QA to implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure product reliability and performance.Process Optimization
Continuously assess and improve the NPD process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Innovation
Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate innovative practices into new product development process.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering related field or Business Administrations related field.5-7 years experience in managing NPD and Capital project management role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
