Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Lawyer to manage and represent our clients / company in various legal disputes. The ideal candidate will handle all phases of litigation, from case analysis and strategy development to courtroom representation and enforcement of judgments. A deep understanding of the Indonesian legal system, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in civil, commercial, and criminal litigation are required.
Job Requirements : Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor of Law (S.H.) from a reputable Indonesian university. A Master of Law (M.H.) is a plus.
- Certification : Possess a PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association) license (Kartu Advokat) and is currently registered with PERADI.
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a litigation lawyer, preferably in a reputable law firm or the legal department of a large corporation. Proven track record of handling a variety of cases (e.g., commercial disputes, contract breaches, employment, debt recovery, defamation, civil torts, and possibly criminal matters).
- Skills : In-depth knowledge of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPer), Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), Civil Procedure Code (HIR / RBg), and other relevant regulations. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, especially for firms handling international clients. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Persuasive negotiator and exceptional advocate. High integrity, professional ethics, and discretion. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation from case assessment and strategy development to courtroom representation and enforcement of judgments.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and other court documents.Advocate persuasively in court, negotiate settlements when appropriate, and manage case portfolios.Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop litigation strategies.Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian laws and regulations throughout the litigation process.Additional Information
