Job Description

• Develops and implements legal procedures and policies to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws.
• Identifies and manages legal risks, and develops strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Provides legal guidance on a wide range of legal matters such as contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
• Manages litigation issues and represents the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.
• Provides advice in structuring, negotiating, and handling corporate actions, such as mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
• Stays up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations that will impact the organization.
• Completes corporate secretarial responsibilities, such as Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings, and others, including the preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes.
• Works closely with the compliance and internal audit team in analyzing and implementing relevant laws and regulations by providing updated agreements, company regulations, etc.
