Assistant Manager Finance Operations (Mandarin Speaking)

Summary :

The Assistant Manager of Finance Operations is a key role within the finance department, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance and tax function. This position involves managing a team of finance professionals, ensuring the implementation of finance and treasury policy, and implementing financial policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager will also play a supporting role in special projects and will also deal with banks and other regulatory bodies.

Main Accountabilities :

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance and tax department, including accounts payable verifications, payments, cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecast, bank relationships, tax calculation, compliance, and reporting.

Manage a team of finance and tax professionals and ensure their effective performance.

Implement financial and tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company regulations and accounting standards.

Manage verification process and scheduling of payment to suppliers.

Prepare and review various reports in connection with finance, treasury, and tax.

Manage the tax calculation and reporting process to ensure that the company is in compliance with prevailing tax regulations and to minimize tax exposure.

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Prepare and review cash flow forecasts to identify funding requirements for the company.

Participate in special projects as required.

Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to : tax regulations, and banking regulations.

Continuously improve finance and tax department processes and systems.

Execute projects assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in finance operations. Experience in a multinational company for at least 2 years is preferred.

Strong understanding of banking and taxation regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP or Pronto).

Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
