Our Southeast Asia communications team plays an integral role in TikTok's global storytelling and forms an essential part of a connected and growing team in the global communications function. We are looking for an outstanding Communications Lead to join us and help make an impact on our brand and our business.
Responsibilities
- Leading overall strategic communications development and execution that encompasses TikTok UGC, TikTok E-commerce, and Policy communications initiatives for Indonesia.
- Working collaboratively with key cross‑functional stakeholders to understand our products, operations, and business objectives and ensure communication goals are aligned with business needs.
- Partnering with global and regional communications team members to build communications strategies and campaigns, that promote and enhance the overall reputation of TikTok.
- Develop and maintain strong media relationships across traditional and new media.
- Develop and maintain strong industry presence through third party engagement.
- Lead and guide local communications team to deliver quality communications work.
- Lead and manage PR agency to ensure quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.Deep understanding of and passion for tech and policy in IndonesiaEstablished relationships with tech, business, consumer media, and new media in IndonesiaPrior people management experienceA self‑starter who takes the initiative with entrepreneurial spiritStrong communicator with business fluency in both English and IndonesianPreferred Qualifications
