Job Description

Active Prospecting : Proactively generate new MICE leads and business opportunities through cold calling, direct sales visits, networking events, and industry trade shows.

Account Management : Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term professional relationships with key MICE accounts, including corporate clients, Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and associations.

Needs Assessment : Conduct thorough in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their specific event requirements, budget, and expectations.

Site Inspections : Arrange and expertly conduct site inspections and facility tours for prospective MICE clients.

Up-selling : Maximize revenue opportunities by actively promoting and up-selling additional services, packages, or facilities complementary to the main booking.

Proposal Delivery : Prepare, customize, and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition to the client.

Negotiation & Closing : Lead contract negotiations, finalize agreements, and efficiently close MICE deals to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

CRM Management : Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Reporting : Prepare and submit regular sales activity reports, performance analysis, and accurate sales forecasts to the management team.

Personal Selling & Business Development

Internal Coordination & Market Awareness

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate closely with internal departments (Operations, Banquet, F&B, Revenue Management) to ensure a seamless client experience and successful event execution.

Market Intelligence : Continuously monitor local and regional MICE market trends, competitor activities, and demand drivers to adapt sales strategies effectively.

Product Knowledge : Maintain expert-level knowledge of the property / venue's facilities, capacities, unique selling points (USPs), services, and pricing policies.

Job Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor degree in any major
  • Proven track record (minimum 2 years) in a sales role, preferably within the MICE, Hospitality, or Event Management industry.
  • Exceptional personal selling, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Highly target-oriented, self-motivated, and possessing a strong drive for results.
  • Domiciled in Central Jakarta or West Jakarta.
