Responsibilities

• Strategic Operational Leadership
• Develop and implement the company’s operational strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across departments (engineering, customer support, IT infrastructure, product delivery, etc.).
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead capacity planning and resource allocation for current and future needs.
• Process Optimization & Efficiency
• Drive process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
• Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement scalable solutions to improve turnaround time, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead automation and digitization initiatives to reduce manual overhead.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment across the organization.
• Act as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous learning.
• Technology & Infrastructure Oversight
• Ensure IT infrastructure, platforms, and tools are effectively supporting operational needs.
• Work closely with CTO or CIO to oversee technology deployment, integration, and maintenance from an operational perspective.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships for outsourced or third-party services.
• Budgeting & Financial Oversight
• Develop, manage, and optimize operational budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery.
• Monitor ROI on internal initiatives and recommend investment shifts as needed.
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, GDPR) and government regulations.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain business continuity plans and disaster recovery readiness.
• Talent Management
• Build and mentor high-performing operations teams.
• Partner with HR to design org structures that support business scale and agility.
• Ensure adequate training, onboarding, and career development opportunities for operational staff.
• Minimum 8+ years of work experience in Operation management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position within the IT or technology industry.
• Proven experience managing operations in SaaS, IT Services, IT System integrator, or Software Product companies.
• Demonstrated success in scaling, managing operational systems and processes within high-growth IT companies, such as SaaS, IT consulting, IT services, IT System integrator, and software development.
• Experience in bringing products from concept through the product operations lifecycle
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Customer Support, DevOps, and / or IT infrastructure functions.
• Strong track record of driving operational efficiencies, cost optimization, and service-level improvements using frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or DevOps.
• Has experience to develop product standard operating procedure, manage product data center team, deployment team, and customer experience team
• Experience driving complex projects or programs with several competing stakeholders, ideally in enterprise software platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, DevOps toolchains, workflow automation tools), software launch readiness role or technical product
• Experience in gathering business insights and identifying trends from data, including combination of data from multiple sources and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of IT operations, including cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service management (e.g., ITIL), and digital transformation.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how operations support agile product delivery.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) and regulatory obligations for technology companies.
