The role
The Country Managing Director is responsible for overall performance of the Indonesia business. As the business leader and face of SAP Indonesia, the Managing Director will be responsible for achieving the business targets and engaging with key stakeholders across customers, partners, and press / media. With full P&L accountability, the Managing Director will execute the strategic plan in alignment with the 2025 Cloud Strategy. The leader will translate the strategic plan into tactics for the country, ensuring the prerequisites for operational excellence and contributing to the regional business planning process. Overall, the main target for the Country Managing Director is to drive profitable and sustainable growth of the country. In addition, the Managing Director will build strong relationships with key partners (both multinational and local) to ensure customer success. As the Country leader, the Managing Director is expected to be a role model for the employees and build trust and psychological safety with the Indonesia teams.
As part of the South East Asia senior leadership team, the Managing Director will be a key contributor to SAP’s success in South East Asia, as well as the broader APJ market. As a business leader, he / she will contribute to the strategy and drive initiatives that will deliver performance improvement locally. Additionally, the Managing Director will collaborate with stakeholders across SAP globally, to deliver business outcomes in support of the country goals.
