Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Paint distribution retail operations. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring efficient store operations. This role requires a balance of commercial acumen, people leadership, and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Drive store sales to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets through consultative selling and promotional initiatives.
- Ensure a premium shopping journey with expert color advisory, quick issue resolution, and strong customer engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, interior designers, and homeowners to expand customer base.
- Oversee daily operations including merchandising, stock control, visual displays, and compliance with SOPs.
- Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and minimize shrinkage or wastage.
- Lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence.
- Track store KPIs, analyze customer trends, and provide insights for business improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).3–5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in paints, building materials, or home improvement.Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing P&L.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and make informed decisions.Unfortunately only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
