Job details

Based in Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the Fitness & Wellness Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall fitness and recreation colleagues and functions. The Fitness & Wellness Manager reports to the Hotel Manager.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for building the Spa & Fitness Team.
• To be fully responsible for all aspects of the Spa & Fitness operations.
• To develop and implement all related policies & procedures of the hotel group as well as all standard operating procedures for Spa & Fitness operations.
• To motivate the Spa & Fitness team to deliver a high level of service excellence.
• To monitor the cleanliness of outside pool area to ensure a hygienic and safe environment at all times.
• To develop Marketing Strategies for the Spa & Fitness department and keep abreast of market developments.
• To encourage proactive, efficient and effective inter-departmental communication in order to promote a climate of teamwork and enthusiasm.
• To ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
• To ensure that the Fire, Life, Health and Safety company standards are maintained and carried out at all times. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group health and safety audit.
• To ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group standards and procedures manual and the Legendary Quality Experience.
• To maintain a team of well-trained and motivated colleagues in order to deliver a high level of service according to Group’s and international luxury hotel standards.
