POSITION SUMMARY :
The M&E Officer will be responsible for developing and managing the M&E systems and processes for a results-oriented project to address forced and child labor risks in critical minerals in Indonesia. The M&E Officer will be responsible for the implementation of the project’s M&E activities and data reporting requirements. S / he will also serve as the point of contact with external evaluators and strengthen partner capacity.
Winrock International is seeking a full-time Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer for an anticipated four-year, U.S. Department of Labor-funded project to promote fair and reliable critical mineral supply chains in Indonesia free of child labor and forced labor. The project will focus on 1) improved regulatory frameworks and their enforcement; 2) capacity building for monitoring, identification, enforcement, and remediation; and 3) research to understand the drivers, risk factors and actors affected by forced labor in critical minerals in Indonesia. This position is contingent upon receipt of funding.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, demographics, public policy, international development, economics, or related field. Master’s degree or Bachelor’s plus an advanced certificate in M&E, statistics, economics, or international development preferred.
