JOB OVERVIEW
Dezan Shira & Associates’ Jakarta office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate / Associate to join our HR & Payroll Services team . This role is ideal for young professionals who are passionate about human resources, payroll compliance, and client advisory services in Indonesia. You will support international clients in managing their HR administration, payroll processing, and compliance with Indonesian manpower regulations, while working closely with cross-border teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing, including data collection, calculation of salaries, social security (BPJS), tax withholdings, and payslip distribution.
- Support HR administration, including drafting employment agreements, onboarding documentation, and maintaining employee records.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, payroll regulations, and reporting obligations.
- Prepare statutory filings and reports related to payroll, manpower, and tax authorities.
- Communicate with clients to clarify payroll / HR data, provide regular updates, and address queries.
- Liaise with government authorities (e.g., BPJS, tax office, Ministry of Manpower) to facilitate registrations, filings, and compliance matters.
- Conduct research on HR and payroll regulatory developments and prepare internal or client-facing updates.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., legal, tax, accounting) to deliver integrated business solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposals to support HR & Payroll service delivery.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the HR & Payroll Services division.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.1–2 years of professional experience in payroll, HR services, or accounting. Strong internships will be considered for Junior Associate.Familiarity with Indonesian manpower regulations, payroll practices, and social security / tax compliance is preferred.Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken).Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with payroll software is a plus.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.What We Offer
