Job Description
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales strategy to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability across all market segments. This role oversees the sales team, develops strong client relationships, drives new business opportunities, and ensures the hotel maintains its position as a leading luxury destination in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee the hotel’s annual sales and marketing plan in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key corporate, leisure, MICE, and travel trade accounts.
- Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of competitors and industry trends.
- Maximize revenue opportunities through proactive account management, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Revenue Manager, and other department heads to optimize performance and guest experience.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure consistent communication of Pullman’s positioning and values.
- Act as an ambassador for the hotel, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in all business dealings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a 5-star international hotel.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Well-established network within the corporate, MICE, and luxury travel markets.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.Proficiency in sales systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar CRM tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.High level of professionalism, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
