Strategy & Business Development Manager / Senior Manager
About the Role
AIA is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional as Strategy & Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to drive our company’s strategic planning and business development initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our long-term vision, driving medium to short-term strategies, and ensuring alignment across all business units. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical prowess, strategic foresight, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Formulate, review, and manage the company’s long-term, medium-term, and short-term strategies in collaboration with the President Director and Finance Director.
- Develop and oversee the strategic planning process, ensuring timely delivery of strategic initiatives and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead strategic corporate actions and initiatives, monitoring business performance to provide actionable recommendations for course correction.
Business Development & Innovation
Identify growth opportunities and innovative business models by analyzing medium to long-term business trends, competitive intelligence, and data analytics.Drive the execution of new business models and strategic plans, providing leadership to cross-functional project teams.Coordinate inputs from major business units to integrate individual plans with the overarching corporate strategy.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Influence and align stakeholders, including senior management teams, to support the attainment of business strategy objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and present data-driven insights and predictive models for financial and strategic decision-making.Provide the Board of Directors and Executive Committee with comprehensive insights from external environmental scans, encompassing economic, social, consumer behavior, and industry-specific trends.Project & Change Management
Lead strategic projects to enhance the company’s competitiveness and meet stakeholder needs.Establish governance processes and project management criteria, developing standardized tools to improve execution and benefit realization.Oversee transformation initiatives, ensuring continuity by implementing strategy frameworks and managing change processes.Collaborate with the Strategic Transformation Office to ensure effective and timely implementation of key strategic priorities.Foster the growth and development of team members within the Strategy Function, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.Minimum of 4-8 years of work experience in strategy development, business development, or related roles, preferably within insurance or financial services industry. Experience in consulting is advantageous.Proficient in financial modeling and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.Exceptional stakeholder management and PMO skills.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
