Overview
The Ideal candidate will be responsible in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. This candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.
Requirements
- Master or above degree in law in Indonesia. Having a PERADI license is advantageous.
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in an Indonesian company or a reputable law firm.
- Familiarity with the new energy industry or products — especially construction of factories, purchasing of material or machines, labor-related issues — would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Bahasa and English is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team player but able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Provide legal support to the Company's daily operations matters on which legal advice and services are necessary or desirable, including drafting, revising and negotiating legal documents in both Bahasa and English.Provide practical, effective and solution-based legal advice for daily business. Conduct investigations and research of relevant laws.Provide training to Company staff on Indonesian laws and regulations.Handle disputes, litigation and government investigations.Implement compliance policies and establish compliance procedures.Manage corporate governance of Indonesian entities.Handle labor issues and disputes.General advisory work, including statutory interpretation, regulation and compliance matters.About CATL
