Overview
As a Fashion Merchandising Division Head , you’ll lead the strategic planning and development of merchandise assortments within your area of responsibility, with a strong focus on product innovation, market relevance, and customer needs. Drives end-to-end product development processes by setting clear merchandise strategies and aligning execution with business goals. Partners cross-functionally to drive innovation, optimize assortments, and deliver compelling product offerings that meet sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic merchandise plans to meet sales and margin targets.
- Make key decisions on product selection, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
- Analyze market and fashion trends to enhance category and product development.
- Lead and coach a team of Merchandising Managers and supporting team.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure a relevant and competitive assortment.
- Innovate merchandising systems, including inventory planning and allocation accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Planning & Allocation, Marketing, Store Operations, VM).
Qualifications
Education : Min. S1 / Bachelor’s Degree.Experience : Minimal in senior managerial level. Fashion retail merchandising experience is a must.Strong commercial and fashion sense.Excellent decision-making and leadership abilities.Skilled in budgeting and negotiation, with strong expertise in end-to-end product development—from trend analysis and concept ideation to collection development, production allocation, and go-to-market execution. Experienced in managing P&L to ensure commercial viability and sustainable growth.Great communication and team development capabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
