Job Description : About the Job
The Director of Sales Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, maximizing, monitoring, and evaluating the hotel's marketing strategy to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue-generating departments.
Responsibilities
Administration
- Develop and implement the hotel's marketing strategy.
- Ensure marketing activities align with corporate strategy.
- Represent the marketing function on the hotel's Executive Committee.
- Oversee the preparation and update of departmental operations manuals.
- Conduct regular divisional communications meetings.
Customer Service
Monitor hotel employees' delivery of brand promise and guest service.Handle guest and internal customer complaints efficiently.Maximize employee productivity through effective scheduling.Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Business Plan.Marketing
Manage hotel brand contacts and marketing communications.Prepare and update the Annual Marketing Plan.Oversee sales strategy and tactics implementation.Monitor local and international market trends.Operational
Direct and coordinate all marketing activities.Work with operational departments based on Consumer Audit results.Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities.Personnel
Assist in the recruitment and selection of Marketing employees.Oversee the punctuality and appearance of Marketing employees.Conduct annual Performance Development Discussions.Other Duties
Maintain relationships with competitor hotels and business partners.Respond to changes in the marketing function.Attend training sessions and meetings as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
